As part of our monthly Education Student Spotlights, we highlight students who shine in our programs and continue to grow in inspiring ways. These students are chosen because of the unique spirit, dedication, creativity and growth they bring to their experience at Citadel. This month, we are thrilled to celebrate sisters Margot and Ellis Zinn.
Margot started performing with Citadel Education at age 8, making her musical debut in Grease. Her notable Citadel performances include the Cat in the Hat in Seussical and stepping into Kristin Chenoweth's shoes to sing My New Philosophy at Citadel's 2025 Broadway Bootcamp summer camp. Through Citadel, Margot has grown into a confident vocalist and performer who shines on stage.
Ellis soon followed in her sister's footsteps, joining Citadel in the summer of 2025 at age 6. Since then, she has played a sassy kangaroo in Seussical, Baby Bear in Shrek, and Randolph in Bye Bye Birdie. Ellis loves the challenge of learning a new role and performing with her friends, and she always brightens the Citadel stage.
Both girls are passionate theatergoers and hope to keep bringing their favorite musicals to the Citadel stage with the help of the friends and mentors they've found there.
We’re so proud to spotlight Margot and Ellis and celebrate the joy, dedication and creativity they bring to Citadel. We can’t wait to see what these two stars do next!
