Class Overview
Lights, camera, action! Learn how to create a confident, professional self-tape audition in this exciting three-day workshop designed for young actors. Students will explore the essentials of on-camera acting, audition preparation, and self-tape production while building the skills needed to stand out in today’s casting world.
Throughout the workshop, participants will practice script analysis, character development, and making authentic acting choices on camera. They’ll learn how to frame a shot, work with lighting and sound, deliver a strong performance, and use reader cues effectively. Students will have the opportunity to film and review their own audition scenes, gaining valuable feedback and practical experience along the way.
By the end of the three days, young actors will have a stronger understanding of the self-tape process, greater confidence in front of the camera, and the tools to submit auditions that showcase their unique talent and personality!
Students will receive a self tape demo at the end of the 3 Day Workshop.
