Directions

From the Edens Expressway (Route 41)
Exit east on Deerpath Road. Travel 1.2 miles through downtown Lake Forest to McKinley Rd (1st street past the Metra tracks). Turn right, and take McKinley 1 block south until it dead-ends at Illinois Rd. The Gorton Community Center is on the corner of McKinley and Illinois roads.

From the I-94 Tollway
Exit east on Route 60. Travel approx. 2 miles until Route 60 dead-ends into Route 41. Turn left, and immediately exit at Deerpath Road. Turn right (east) and travel 1.2 miles through downtown Lake Forest to McKinley Rd (1st street past the Metra tracks). Turn right, and take McKinley 1 block south until it dead-ends at Illinois Rd. The Gorton Community Center is on the corner of McKinley and Illinois roads.


By Metra Rail
Take the Union Pacific North Line, which originates at the Ogilvie Transportation Center, outbound to the Lake Forest train station. Cross over the railroad tracks to McKinley road and head 1 block south (right). The Gorton Community Center is on the corner of McKinley and Illinois roads. Click here to access the Metra schedule.
