This night of September in 1934 is the biggest in the history of the Cleveland Grand Opera Company. World Famous tenor, Tito Morelli, is scheduled to perform at the gala season opener. The stage is set, the orchestra is ready, but with only three minutes to curtain, Morelli has gone missing. Stuck in a predicament, the general manager coaxes his assistant Max into imitating Morelli for the performance. Soon the farce spins out of control, both onstage and off. A sensation on Bradway and in London's West End, Lend Me A Tenor is guaranteed to leave the audience teary eyed with laughter.
