The Boarding House
Nov 5 - Nov 21, 2010
A moving love story by local playwright, Ann Noble

Waiting for love to return in November, 1945: After three years of dedicated service to his country, Dell was honorably discharged and headed back home - but never arrived. His wife and sister, who manage a boarding house, wonder if love will ever re-enter their world. The Boarding House is a heartfelt drama about loyalty, life--and what it means to come home.

“(Noble’s ) comic and dramatic instincts are also razor sharp, as is her ability to weave comedy and drama together into a seamless, lifelike mix.” - Chicago Reader

Jake's Women
Feb 4 - Feb 20, 2011
A hilarious comedy by much loved playwright, Neil Simon

America's premier comic playwright makes another hilarious foray into the world of modern relationships. Jake, a novelist who is more successful with fiction than with life, faces a marital crisis by daydreaming about the women in his life. The wildly comic and sometimes moving flashbacks played in his mind are interrupted by visitations from actual females. Jake's women include a revered first wife who was killed years earlier in an accident, his daughter who is recalled as a child but is now a young woman, his boisterous and bossy sister, an opinionated analyst, his current wife who is leaving Jake for another man, and a prospective third wife.

"One of Simon's best." - The Los Angeles Times

Something's Afoot
May 6 - May 22, 2011
A wacky, musical mystery that is sure to keep you guessing.
Book, Music and Lyrics by James McDonald, David Vos and Robert Gerlach
Additional music by Ed Linderman.

A zany, entertaining show that takes a satirical poke at Agatha Christie mysteries and musical styles of past years. Ten people are stranded in an isolated English country house during a raging thunderstorm. One by one they're picked off by cleverly fiendish devices. As the bodies pile up in the library, the survivors frantically race to uncover the identity and motivation of the cunning culprit.

"Engaging, funny, refreshing and original." - N.Y. Post.
