Scott Phelps (Citadel Artistic Director)
Scott is in his 6th year as the Artistic Director at Citadel, where he directed “A Nervous Smile”, “Picasso at the Lapin Agile”, “All in the Timing”, and the inaugural Citadel production of “3 Scoops” in 2002. He has directed in NYC, and in his home state of California. Trained as an actor, Scott, did a 2 year internship at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Santa Maria, California, received his BFA from the University of Utah and met his wife, Ellen at the Actors Theatre of Louisville. After 2 years in New York, where he got his Equity card working with Circle Repertory Theatre (and having his first of 4 children) he returned to continue working in the Chicago theater arena. For 18 years Scott worked for a Promotional company in Racine WI, paying the mortgage and raising his family in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago. In 2002 he got this crazy idea to bring “Chicago Style” theatre to Lake Forest.

Roxann Ferguson
Roxann Ferguson, an active performer in opera and music theatre, received a Master of Music degree in Music Theatre: Opera Performance from Arizona State University, and bachelor's degrees in both Vocal Performance and Anthropology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Recent engagements include Hansel in Humperdinck's Hansel & Gretel with Village Players Theatre in Oak Park, and Die Fledermaus with Music by the Lake. In Arizona, Roxann performed feature roles in productions ranging from Dialogues of the Carmelites to Oklahoma! Internationally, she performed in Salzburg, Austria, as Sandrina in Mozart's La Finta Giardiniera and as a soprano soloist in selections from Mozart's Mass in c minor and Requiem, as well as appearing in concerts in Urbania, Italy. Roxann received awards from the Bel Canto Italian Opera Contest in Chicago and Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity, in addition to a Monticello Archaeological Scholarship from the Thomas Jefferson Foundation.

Ellen Lancaster
Ellen Lancaster is back in the Midwest after 20 years in New York City. While in NYC she appeared on Broadway, in TV and Films and was the voice of lots of products on TV and Radio. You can still catch her on many episodes of Law and Order where she is usually looking distressed, smart, or sad!

Jason Miller
Jason Miller is a classically trained actor/singer/dancer/director who has performed both internationally and throughout the US for The Cleveland Playhouse, The Emelin Theatre - NYC, Hope Summer Repertory Theatre, Lakes Region Theatre of New Hampshire, Playmaker's Repertory Theatre of North Carolina and Royal Carribean/Celebrity Cruise Lines. Some familiar credits include the roles of Danny Zuko in Grease, Zach in A Chorus Line, Frank Butler in Annie Get Your Gun and appearances on the television shows: Becker, Beverly Hills 90210, E.R., and Chicago Hope. Jason has a BFA in Musical Theatre from Northern Kentucky University and an MFA in Acting from Case Western Reserve Univ.

Christine Cummings
Christine has been performing, directing, and teaching in California and Chicago for over 17 years. She graduated as Valedictorian with her BA in Acting from CSU, Fullerton and then received an MFA in Acting from Illinois State University. She has also studied with the International Actor's Studio in L.A. and the Actor's Studio Chicago. Christine has taught children's theatre in Normal, IL and college students at both Wesleyan University and Illinois State. She currently teaches acting at Eureka College, and was last seen on stage in the world premier of Fraternal Instinct at the Athenaeum Theatre in Chicago.

Sarah Pitárd
Sarah Pitárd recently received her B.F.A. in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University. Originally from Champaign, IL, she has also been seen at The Little Theatre on the Square in Sullivan, IL and at the University of Illinois’ Summerfest for four summers. Sarah is a recognized Advanced/Actor Combatant in seven weapon styles with the Society of American Fight Directors. She won the Best Female Actor/Combatant Award in 2006. She recently fight choreographed a production of Skin with Shabam productions at EP Theatre in Chicago.

Sandy Goetz Ragsdale(Artistic Director, Lake Forest Dance Academy)
Sandy began her early dance training with Anida Sedala, former Lake Forest Dance Academy Director, and with Gus Giordano. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Sarah Lawrence College and her Master of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Michigan. She was on the faculty of University of Michigan’s Dance Department for two years. She has performed, taught, and choreographed in Paris, France, Geneva, Switzerland and New York City as well as in the Chicago area. Sandy choreographs for CenterStage in Lake Forest and Lake Forest High School. She is past President of the Lake Shore Chapter of the Sacred Dance Guild of America. Sandy holds her Associate IV Teaching certificate from the Cecchetti Council of America. For the past twelve years she has co-directed the Dance Academy with Connie Davis. This will be Sandy’s sixth year as a full time Parks and Recreation Department Staff Supervisor and as the Lake Forest Dance Academy’s Artistic Director. This will be Sandy’s 25th year with Lake Forest Dance Academy.

Heather Goodrich
Heather received her B.A. in Communications with a minor in Business & Theater from Barat College of DePaul. She was an intern on the WGN Morning Show where she not only reported but performed song and dance numbers. Heather’s dance training includes Dance Center North and Terpsichore Company in Libertyville; tap workshops in New York, Disney Dance Workshops, Orlando, FL. and LA Dance Force Workshops. She is currently teaching at the Libertyville Park District Dance Program. Heather will be teaching for Lake Forest Dance Academy for the seventh year. Heather believes every child has the gift of music and dance within them and that it is her gift to bring that out and help her students shine.
