Young Ensemble
The Young Ensemble is a Conservatory approach to theatre arts and is taught by seasoned professionals. We offer unique classes that each focus on theatre styles. The Young Ensemble is comprised of acting students between the ages of 12 to 17 who plan to make performing a part of their lives. They are dedicated, talented individuals who take their academic and performance education seriously. Admittance into the program is by audition only. This is a great opportunity for aspiring thespians to be well versed in specialized areas that will prepare them for the professional level of the performance industry.

This Spring we will study the challenging and fun style of Epic Theatre. The Ensemble will learn the power of using music, dance, puppetry, folk tales and text to enlighten and incite the audience to create change in their world. The Beatles, Monty Python and old school Saturday Night Live used elements of Epic Theatre to open viewers eyes to an issue. The will be a powerful and compelling piece of theatre for public performance.

Classes will be held Sundays, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. beginning in January.

Acceptance into the Young Ensemble is by audition or invitation only. The next audition will be Sunday, January 6 at 1 pm at Citadel's West Campus performance space. Call 847-735-8554 for information or email act@citadeltheatre.org
