This group is comprised of students between the ages of 12 to 17 who are serious about acting. The Young Ensemble is a Conservatory approach to theatre arts and is taught by seasoned professionals. We offer unique classes that each focus on theatre styles. This Spring we will discover the thrilling world of Melodrama with its Dashing Heroes and Damsels in Distress battling the evil machinations of the cold-blooded Villain where suspense, plot twists, music and spectacle abound! The Young Ensemble members will be encouraged to make bold vocal and physical choices in this early 19th Century theatrical style such as dramatic asides, the tableaux and sensational emotions.
This Conservatory style approach is a great opportunity for dedicated and talented students to become well versed in specialized areas that will prepare them for the professional level of the performance industry. Minimum of 6 students required with a maximum of 16.

Admittance to Young Ensemble is by audition or invitation only. The next audition is Saturday, January 15th
